Of course there are plenty of workarounds, but they are involve extra time or money. I understand that there's probably a lot of baggage and hisotory in paper sizes, but why don't the frame sizes match the available paper sizes?

You'd think Epson or Canon would come up with a set of paper sizes that best fit the 1.333 ratio and that standard frames are available for. The cheapest frame are borderless with no matt, so the picture has to be an exact fit to the glass to look right. Why Epson came up with such a wierd size is beyond me. However, I can't find a source of 12X16 photo paper. Now 12X16 follows the ideal 1.333 ratio, and you can walk into any Walmart and find plenty of 12X16 frames. There are also no standard frames or matts that you can find for that size. It's 10% off from the ideal 1.333 ratio, so you always have to crop. My 1280 can print up to 13X19 but that's not an ideal size for a variety of reasons. I'm trying to match my printer, camera, paper, and framing capabilities.
